Yes. Updates to latest software and firmware versions of Barracuda are available to all users.

No. Some Barracuda functions are marked as "Subscription" in the features list. They are not included in "Base software" and require purchase of 1 Year Annual Subscription for Barracuda.

Annual Subscription can be purchased from any of our Distributors. You will receive archived *.lic file, which upon loading in Barracuda will activate the purchased function.
To Load the file start Barracuda.exe and select Manager->Activate License->Open the *.lic file.

Start Barracuda.exe and select Manager->View List of Active Licenses.

Yes. Additional or spare adapters can be purchased from any of our Distributors. Adapters are listed in the features list.

All Barracuda functions have an accompaning PDF documentation which lists what is required for the particular function. As of update 26, all paid functions are included in Barracuda Annual Subscription.

For some functions Yes. Barracuda is made to completent Tango & Orange-5 as well as J2534 PassThru compiant OBD adapter (ex.: Tactrix Openport 2.0). There are complex functions that either require these devices too, or can be used synergistically to solve a complex task. Such interactions are documented in Barracuda help files.
